The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) chose Blackbarn Media to redesign their website with improved information architecture, user interface and the ability to easily update information. The site required organizing hundreds of technical documents.

After gathering business and end-user input regarding the use of the site, we analyzed existing content and proposed a more intuitive hierarchy based on how their typical users interact with the content. Utilizing the Content Management System, Drupal, we were able to create a more flexible, scalable, modern website.

AAJ came to us with the idea to illustrate the staggering number of deaths from preventable medical errors with the concept of equating it to two 737s crashing everyday for a year. We used vibrant, shocking colors that would translate across mediums, to draw lawmakers' attention and tell the real stories of the victims.
